Chromophonozone was a three part interactive performance that occurred in an underground Brisbane karaoke club in 2006. Visitors to the club could participate by choosing a song and wearing a mask. The karaoke club was modified each night and the footage generated from the masked performances was feedback into the bank of monitors and also projected on adjacent walls. The final installment consisted of three video works (an instructional video, a video with lyrics and a video of past performances) that provided a backdrop for the masked karaoke to unfold.
